The AUDI A8 belongs to the forefront of the luxury limousine market, offering a perfectly designed and made interior that guarantees the highest traveling comfort. The Audi A8 limousine offers space that, combined with high-end materials, takes you to the world of luxury. An interesting fact about this particular piece is the hybrid drive. We are dealing here with the HYBRID variant, which is by far the least common version in the Audi A8 D4.
AUDI A8 HYBRID combines a gasoline four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a capacity of 2 liters and an electric unit. The hydraulically controlled multi-plate clutch interconnects two drive units. The hybrid system adapts to the driving mode, enabling 3 working scenarios: The electric motor itself (EV mode), the combustion engine itself, both at the same time. In electric mode, the range is around 3KM and allows for acceleration up to 100KMH. The hydrokinetic automatic ZF8HP gearbox is responsible for the transmission. An interesting fact is that the drive only goes to the front axle.
Within a few hours of work spent on the dyno, we have brought our STAGE 1 software to safe values. The temperature parameters on the exhalation remained in the normative range. Such a personalized approach to chiptuning allows you to optimize the software for a specific copy and the requirements of the owner. Individual tuning ensures a good night’s sleep without worrying about an unexpected failure.
It is worth noting that the torque generated after our individual tuning has increased, up to 70Nm! This engine gives the impression of being off when driving, absolute silence prevails in the car, but when you press a little gas pedal, the car is very keen on speeding. An additional injection of torque from the electric motor only adds to the driving experience of this car. Chip tuning Audi A8 provides a sense of comfort and safety on the road. Maintaining high speeds on the motorway, or overtaking maneuver is no longer a problem. It is also worth noting that the specific course of the power curve and torque results precisely from the electrical interference of the engine which in the measurement mode on the dynamometer (traction systems off) offers a momentary “overboost” of the torque. On the road, the transition from the electric moment to the burned is basically imperceptible and the power is rendered smoothly.
