The effect of the works is a definite improvement of the dynamics of the vehicle in the full range of engine operation. An additional injection of 130KM and 120Nm translated into considerable driving sensations. Such significant parameters of the engine in combination with the Xdrive 4×4 drive allow the car to achieve the first “hundreds” in about 3.5s. Additionally, at the client’s request, we have launched the pops & bangs function, i.e. gas-fired shots. This effect occurs only in the sport + program. that driving this luxury coupe does not become bothersome every day. In addition, in the car we have calibrated the sport clocks in the inforraction system and removed Vmax.

After several hours spent on the dynamometer, we have refined our STAGE 3 software for safe engine performance values. The temperature parameters on the exhaust remain within a safe range.

Within a few hours spent working on the dynamometer, we have brought our STAGE 2 software to safe values. All engine operating parameters remain in the optimum range, guaranteeing trouble-free operation of the drive unit.

This engine gives the impression of being off when driving, absolute silence prevails in the car, but after pressing a little accelerator pedal on the released exhaust generates a beautiful sound from the eight cylinders. The responsiveness, work culture of the unit in the V8 system is excellent. Only a more efficient heat exchanger was missing for full happiness. During the tests on the dynamometer at the temperature in the 42st input, the car generated 580km, but this temperature is maintained on the road to 170km / h, then there is interference due to too high temperature and the power is cut off.
The car’s times have been measured with the RaceLogic measuring device and look as follows:
100-200km / h – 8.57 (After implementing a more efficient heat exchanger, it is possible to descend to 8.0s.)
