So far, we have made more than a dozens of the BMW F-series equipped with 8-cylinder N63 unit, this time it’s time for the G series and the revised variant of the engine marked N63TU2. The customer came to our headquarters in Łódź from Szczecin bearing in mind our individual approach to cars from Bavaria. The top variant of the M550i series 5 G30 has been additionally equipped with a complete exhaust system made by AC-Schnitzer (retaining the original catalysts due to the guarantee).
The new BMW engine units tend to be bonuses on the dynamometer. Our observation shows that the manufacturer has made an amendment to the fact that with the larger milage of the previous generation, the area around 5% of power decreased, and in this generation of engines he decided to initially give a 5% bonus in relation to catalog power. During a quiet ride, the N63TU2 unit is virtually voiceless, but after pressing the accelerator pedal generates a beautiful, purebred V8 sound.
